Lucky Mom

Okay, the weather is changing and everyone is getting busier because you don't need to plan a week or two in advance how to navigate doing your normal errands in the heat. Yeah!!! Gals, do you ever feel a little too appreciated? I know I do, especially when I look around and it appears that no one in my family has broken arms.

Well, it has been one of those weekends where I had absolutely no time to do anything else. Before proceeding, please know that this is incredibly embarrassing to me, especially when too many people think that I have it all together all the time. Please know that is only my facade.

I wake up this morning, and I guess I know what I need to do first:

You'll notice that it says "Charmen's kitchen" in the back of it all. Family, please don't take this so literally!!!

To all of my wonderful friends who have little children, they just get bigger and move out! I hope you all have a wonderful day. I've got to go because Berkeley got hold of a new roll of toilet paper and has now shredded it in the living room!

Okay, when I first saw the picture and before I finished reading the post the first thing I thought to myself was "that sign has got to come down." You are way to kind to let your family think that the kitchen is only yours to take of. But I think we have all been there before. Good luck with the dishes. That is not my favorite thing to do.

My first thought...You need deeper sinks!
Hi Charmen, I saw your link on Crystal's site and had to peek. I started a blog too (no pics yet) and the link is on Crystal's list.
I am so happy for your family, you are all looking great and I like your house.
Take care!

I agree, you are WAY too kind to those other family members who have non-broken arms. I'm like you, I like things done right the first time, but you shouldn't have to do that much work. Yikes.

I totally agree with you, they get older and move out, so I am very rarely concerned with housework. I would much rather play and have fun with my boy. My house is never completely clean unless I have warning that someone is coming over.
