Happy 28th Birthday, Jenny!

This is my baby sister, Jennifer. Jenny and I were incredibly close even though the gap was wide. There is an 11 year span between her and myself, me being the oldest and her the youngest of 5 kids.

These are just a few of the pictures that I have of her. She became a mom and a wife at 16 years of age. Her first child, William, was born. She then had twin boys, Shane and Jacob, about 18 months later.

Due to the fact that she was so young at the time, the marriage didn't last. This is one of the last pictures that I have of the three sisters together. Jenny has had some incredible difficulties since her breakup. Unfortunately, the difficulties have resulted in me not knowing where she is at this time.

Jenny, I just want you to know that I love you so much and I wish for you a happy birthday!

I'm a Big Girl Now!

It would seem we have the whole "Wilson" from Home Improvement thing down.

Baby Girl has a new trick up her sleeve. She is finally able to pull herself up to apparently everything now. She's way too cute for words. She looks just like Brittany and has her hair and brown eyes. She is also very petite like Brittany. BM=Birth Mom and AM=Adoptive Mom look like they could be sisters, so, she looks like her AM too. It's neat, people that meet them don't know that she is adopted. She fits right in. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for blessing our lives with this baby girl and her family.

Naughty boy.

SHhhhhhh........I'm not supposed to be here! Yes, this is the Beagle on Mom's bed on her side next to her pillows. Now, have I mentioned that I am allergic to said Beagle? At our old home we used to have a baby gate guarding our bedroom so that it could be my "Allergen free zone". When we moved we decided we were tired of walking over a gate, or rather tripping over a gate to get in and out of our room. I may just have to revisit this idea, since it looks like I have laundry to do before I can go to bed tonight.

More of the same

Yep, here we go again tonight. I got home from my Primary Presidency meeting, and I walked right past this. Lee was in bed as well, and I asked him, "Is Mark asleep?" He said, "Didn't you see him?" So, I went back to the living room and there was my sweetie boy conked out once again. Don't worry, he is wearing his boxers, but fortunately for this posting, you won't be able to see them. I'm sure he'll thank me in the morning. Sweet dreams everyone!!

Moms........Don't you love this??

Okay so today was the first day of school for Mesa public schools. My Mark, however, started school on August 8th and Brittany started her Massage Therapy program at East Valley Institute of Technology. Brittany started her Senior year at Skyline today. Yay!!!! Anyway, back to my point. I just love it when the kids go back to school.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love my children dearly. All summer I look forward to this..........

I don't even have to say, "Hey, it's time to go to bed!" for the hundredth time. The only drawback is making sure that family prayer has been said. I may just have to move that to about 5:30pm. Now, Mark has fallen asleep in various places, all of them not his bed. Last Thursday, Mark fell asleep in my bed with his head on his Dad's pillow and his feet on mine. Tonight, he fell asleep on the love seat and I had to try and escort him to his bed. This is what happens when Mark is still asleep............

He's such a big boy now that it is hard to maneuver him into position. At least he wakes up in a good mood and ready to greet the day. At least until I open my mouth.

I can't believe that in just about 3 1/2 months, Mark will be a Deacon and passing the sacrament. I just love these milestones, but it also means that time is marching on, and my baby is growing up. I love you Mark!!!!!

Grandma, this one's for You!

Hello Everyone! It's my 3rd birthday today! I guess that means I am 21 years old and a legal Beagle!

I came to my family on December 24, 2004. My mommy bought me for my daddy because he had been begging for a dog for about 17 years. My mom is allergic to animals, but, I was so cute that she made an exception for me.

I love it when I get an occasional wet meal, so basically this was my cake. I don't usually get to eat "at the table" but no one was looking. I'd really rather have some chocolate, but Mom keeps telling me I can't have any. I love my family very much. I would follow my Daddy off the edge of the Earth.

Happy Birthday to Me! Can we go to the dog park now? I loooovvvvveeee you, Grandma!
Love,
Berkeley

19 Years Ago Today.......

See Charmen big with child. See her pointing to her belly.

Isn't Andrew such a happy little boy? Yes, that's right! 19 years ago today at 6:00pm on the dot, our beautiful baby boy was born. Only 9 days late, and in the dead heat of summer.

Better late than never! Andrew is such a wonderful son, and I am so glad that Heavenly Father saw fit to send him to our family. He is a great big brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend that you could ever have. Andrew always did what he should and could be counted on by so many. Andrew we love you, and we wish you the happiest of birthdays! I have a feeling this will be a great learning year for you. Happy 19th Son!
