Isn't she so pretty? She got her hair professionally colored and highlighted by our favorite hairdresser, Ketra. It's such a grown up do and she looks so gorgeous, not that she needed any help in that department. The blonde highlights really light up her shining, smiling face.

Happy Birthday, Hunter!

This is our good buddy friend Hunter. He is so handsome with his beautiful blue eyes, and georgous smile. Happy 4th birthday, Hunter Bug! We hope that you had a fun party!

Lee went to Irvine, California for a week. It was very hard for Daddy and Berkeley to part. They missed their nap together today, and Berkeley will be wandering around the house looking for his Daddy. He already tried to get in bed with me for a nap, but I had just changed the sheets because he got on my bed yesterday when we weren't looking.

Isn't this a cute picture of Brittany in her Domino's uniform? I loved her Heidi hair. She is looking for a new job. She has an interview with Target tomorrow.

There's no place like Home

This is our beautiful new home that we moved into three months ago. I up until recently had been reluctant to move out to the East Valley because if you know me at all, you know that I am a little uncomfortable with change.

We had been looking at houses off and on for years, but when the market took off and prices were soaring, we felt as though we were waving goodbye to our dreams of ever owning a home. Well, as we all know the market is now making that correction and things were returning to our price range. We had actually come to this neighborhood looking at the house directly across the street. I wasn't terribly impressed with that one, but our realtor suggested that since we were there why not look at this one. Well, I immediately fell in love with it. Later that night I told Lee, "What are we going to do? We need to pray about this and make sure we're doing the right thing before we put an offer in." So we all know the ending to that story.

Mark made fast friends with Colton and Conner, two brothers that live about four houses down and live in our ward. Here they are playing X-box in our living room. Notice that Berkeley, our Beagle boy, loves these boys too.

We are making new friends and getting settled. I still have about 5 boxes that are not completely empty. I guess it will get done eventually though.

Happy Birthday Avery!

Happy Birthday Miss Avery! We had a wonderful visit and celebrated her first birthday. She daintily ate her very first cupcake. The day was spent blowing raspberries and clicking our tongues!

It's hard to believe that it has already been a year. It just proves that Heavenly Father lives and loves each one of us and truly answers our prayers. We are so grateful to love her and share her and feel of His love through her.

This is the Beginning.....

This is the beginning of what I hope will be many posts to keep you all up to date with the doings of the Lee Johnson family.

Our family was established on January 16, 1988 in Mesa, Arizona. We have grown to include three children, two sons and one daughter, and one Beagle.
