Insomnia......Release Me!

I have been unable to sleep for about a week now. Any noise at all is really bothersome and I have finished all 3 books of the "Twilight" series. Does anyone have a suggestion? I have not had a bout that has lasted quite this long before. My head feels like it's in a vice grip, and I'm not feeling terribly pleasant.

I can't sleep!

Well, I know I just started reading New Moon, but I'm done already! Tonight I get to start......

My heart was just yearning for the divine Edward! I couldn't stop! Werewolves AND vampires, who knew? I fear that I have been driven to a fantasy world that I just don't seem to want to leave. Housework? What housework? This is why they invented paper plates, right?

This is Sooooo Good!!!!

Okay. I am just dying! Last night I finished Twilight and today I have started....

I am so "devouring" this story. I totally love Edward! In my next life I think I just might like to be "Bella". I think I'd better go out and get "Eclipse" today since I am totally gonna be ready for "Breaking Dawn" when it comes out. I just may join a certain group of gals waiting for the midnight release! AAaaagghhh! My heart is just racing!

If your friends jumped over a cliff, would you do it too?

Okay. I'm not the type of person to cave to peer pressure, but I was tired of feeling left out of this one. I'm always a little late to catch the train, meekly dipping my toe in when I should be diving head first. I was late to the Harry Potter phenomenon. I have only read the first book in that series and I will not watch the movies until I have read them all, although I have seen the first one and it pretty much follows the book verbatim.
My group of friends get so excited when they talk about the "Twilight" series. There is a movie coming out and a fourth book. I've got some serious catching up to do. I started reading at about midnight last night and got through the first 100 or so pages and forced myself to put it down and go to sleep.
So far I'm lovin' it! When I had heard it was about vampires, I was pretty sure that it wasn't for me. But, since it will be October 21st before the next Anita Shreve book comes out, I decided to make time for this. After all, I want to fit in. You know, the "IN" crowd?

Less Geeky than I thought!

13% Geek

The only reason I am even this geeky, is because I won a spelling bee in 4th grade, and I've stayed up all night playing solitaire on the computer when I was 9 months pregnant and couldn't sleep! At least I'm not 50% geek like my dear, sweet husband!

Andrew's Girl

This is Andrew's girl. See how happy she makes him? We just adore her. Sorena is so nice and sweet and I think she likes us too! She is so good for him, she really brings out the best in him. She came to church with our family today and I introduced her as "hopefully my daughter-in-law someday". Andrew, it is so great that you are happy and determined to be the best that you can be. We love you son!

Let sleeping dogs lie....

Have you ever seen a dog that sleeps like this? For a dog, this is the most vulnerable they can be, and this guy sleeps this way.

It is so stinking hot outside that this is all that you want to do. This is a cute moment with Berkeley and Riley. Usually Berkeley gets annoyed with the "whippersnapper". I mean, you are the alpha dog for 3 1/2 years and this little fella comes along and plays with your toys, sleeps in your bed, eats out of your dish AND his, and drinks out of your water dish. What's not to like, Riley is always trying to engage him in play when Berkeley just wants to sleep and have some "peace and quiet".

Berkeley has seemed a little bent out of shape with the latest turn of events, so we spoiled him with his own "couch".

I'm not really sure how to explain this picture. How does one sleep this way? Perhaps he's a little "drunk" off video games, after all, it is too hot to play outside. It won't be long before the beagles will be dressed as people!

Random

Perhaps I have been waxing nostalgic of late, but, I wanted to post this picture. Any guess as to who it is?

Yes, it's Brittany at 5 months. She was only knee high to a grass hopper, but, she was already pulling herself up and "walking" along the furniture. I thought that she would walk early, but she never ventured out alone until 14 months.

I just get a big kick out of this picture because she looks so tiny and those little legs and the curly back of that head!

Special Time

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to the temple and be there for a sister in our ward who was going through for her first time. The session brought me back to the time when Lee and I went through. We were married on January 16, 1988 and sealed for time and all eternity on April 22, 1989.

This is Lee and I with our baby Andrew on our sealing day. It was such a special day for us and our family. I was overwhelmed with emotion at being sealed to my Lee and my Andrew for eternity. We had a special opportunity in the sealing room to make an announcement to our family who was with us there. Andrew was going to become a big brother! You should have seen my mother in law's eyes shoot wide open. It was a priceless moment.

Four generations of Johnsons.

I am grateful to be blessed with a forever family.

P.S. Happy Birthday other favorite Aunt Rose!

Happy Birthday to everyone's Favorite Aunt Dartell!

This is our beloved Aunt Dartell. She was 11 years old when I met and fell in love with her brother.
Lee loves his little sister.

When Dartell was younger, she always said that she wanted to have 10 kids.

She doesn't have any of her own children yet, but she is like a second mother to a bajillion nieces and nephews.

We love our Aunt Dartell, she has always been there for us.

We were there for her when she came home from her mission to Catania, Italy.

We love you so much Dartell! We know how much you love us too! Have a very Happy Birthday,..........in New Jersey!

Happy 45th Anniversary!

Happy 45th Anniversary to my ever-loving in-laws, Roger and Sharon Johnson! Isn't this a cute picture? My brother-in-law is the artist in the grass. Hope you have a great day and here's to 45 more wonderful years together!
