If elected, I promise.....

I'm on the ballot! I have decided to run for a seat on our homeowner association board. Since we moved into a home with an HOA, I have made it a point to attend the meetings. Having worked for a company that manages HOA's for so long, and hearing the complaints of so many homeowners over the years, I've decided to be part of the solution rather than the problem.
I have a dream......uh, actually I decided to run due to the fact that our current board seems unable to be bothered to attend the meetings themselves. In fact, a gal who is also running stated that her qualifications for serving our community was that, and I quote, "at least I will show up to the meetings unlike our current board." How sad that merely attending a meeting is the qualifier.
If elected, I promise that we will have better lunches and longer recesses.
Happy April Fool's Day and Happy Birthday to my father-in-law, Roger L Johnson. He's no April Fool!

Can we have a cute nice guy check out our yards and ignore those little weeds right after it rains? If so I will vote for you. J/K I think Lu made a comment about maybe her husband running as well.

We voted for you and Bruce. Plus John asked to be written in, so hopefully now we will see some changes.

Wow, I never knew you were such an activist. Do you get anything if you serve on the board, like a reduced HOA fee or something. Or does it just mean that all the stuff the HOA is suppose to do gets done at your house first?
