It's difficult to move forward. Especially when you feel as though people have made an errant assessment of you and your situation. Do I have a duty to go them and explain just how they are wrong? Or, as often as the case may be, do you put your Sunday face back on and go on as though nothing has happened?
I am sure that some of you think that I have absolutely lost my mind. I haven't.
I've ventured to write some of the things that have really bothered me. It was met with silence, laughter, and indifference. So, in that vein, I will save my deepest thoughts for my other venue.
The mask is back on, baby.

I'm sorry to read that. You know that I care without judgement. Just don't put that mask on as tight as others think you should. You have made a big difference in my views on life and are a great role-model on how to handle trials. I think you're awesome.
It's hard to share who you are. I'm sorry you didn't get the response you were looking for. I hope you can find an outlet that works for you.
You don't have to answer to anyone. If people are judging you, then they need to step back and figure out where they went wrong. You are Charmen, you are capable!
Take care of you!
I have always been a member of the "Fake it till you make it club." I still am. There are those days. Everyone has them. It's when those days turn to weeks and then months that are the problem. Masks are part of life too, learning when to remove them can be tricky. I totally get your frustration. I wish I knew the answers, cuz you better believe I would share! Know that you are loved and supported, even from afar...
