If your friends jumped over a cliff, would you do it too?

Okay. I'm not the type of person to cave to peer pressure, but I was tired of feeling left out of this one. I'm always a little late to catch the train, meekly dipping my toe in when I should be diving head first. I was late to the Harry Potter phenomenon. I have only read the first book in that series and I will not watch the movies until I have read them all, although I have seen the first one and it pretty much follows the book verbatim.
My group of friends get so excited when they talk about the "Twilight" series. There is a movie coming out and a fourth book. I've got some serious catching up to do. I started reading at about midnight last night and got through the first 100 or so pages and forced myself to put it down and go to sleep.
So far I'm lovin' it! When I had heard it was about vampires, I was pretty sure that it wasn't for me. But, since it will be October 21st before the next Anita Shreve book comes out, I decided to make time for this. After all, I want to fit in. You know, the "IN" crowd?

I feel much better now that I know I wasn't the only one who waited to read Twilight. I didn't read it until 6 months ago (Dec/Jan). I jumped off that cliff because I was afraid my buddies would throw me off a real one. I just read the second and haven't read the third. I have too many books on my list right now so Steph and her pretend friends will just have to wait.

Its about time! I wasn't sure what what else we could do to get you to read it. I am glad that you are liking it. Just think you have a month to read all three! Now to get Julee reading them...
