My girl has done it! On Tuesday, May 20, 2008, Brittany graduated from East Valley Institute of Technology with her "degree" in Massage Therapy! It was 110* that day! Whew!
She didn't actually receive her diploma that night. She had to go to school the next day for her last day to pick it up. The EVIT graduation was held at the beautiful Mesa Arts Center in downtown Mesa.
She looks so happy! Even Mark looks thrilled.
On Thursday, May 22, 2008, Brittany graduated from Skyline High School with half of her class. The weather took a sudden dive and was raining that night. They could no longer hold the graduation on the football field, so they had A-J in the gymnasium and M-Z in the auditorium. The kids were pretty disappointed about spending the ceremony apart and they were only allowed 4 tickets. Brittany, being the enterprising individual that she is, acquired a few extra so that her aunt and several of her friends and co-workers could attend. Aunt Dartell took more pictures because my camera batteries died, I'm just waiting for her to e-mail them to me, so I'll post more at a later time.
I was just so proud of Brittany. I was overcome with emotion as I pondered the last three years and everything she has gone through and sacrificed to get to this major milestone.
She received a massage table and chair and accessories from her father and I for a graduation gift. You've been formally noticed, Brit's in business and she's goooooood!
Friday night was a fun Bunco night at my house followed by a group of us girls going to see "Made of Honor". I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and the company I was in!
And lastly,
SOLD!!!!
Saturday, May 24, 2008, exactly one year and one month from the date we closed on our present domicile we have finally sold our mobile home. Goodbye my dear gas stove. Goodbye my refrigerator with a freezer bigger than the one I have now. Goodbye to 12 years of raising our family in this home. We sold it to someone who will take good care of it. No more two mortgage payments. No more taking care of two lawns. No more cleaning two houses. My shoulders suddenly feel lighter. Thank you Heavenly Father for a wonderful week!

What an amazing family!!! And what an amazing, blessed week! Blessings can fall in showers after what seems like the driest spells! We love you all!!
You have had one great week, I am so excited for you and your family. Isn't it wonderful how when you just think you can't take anymore Heavenly Father sends you multiple blessings to help you through. I am so proud of Brittany, that is so awesome! Now she is in my boat, a massage therapist. By the way I have seen a lot of postings on Craigslist for jobs for a massage therapist. She should check it out.
Congratulations! I am so happy for you to get to go see a fun movie! Just kidding, I squealed when I saw the "Sold" under the picture. I am so glad that is done with!
Yay for Brittany! Every picture you took of her, she is glowing and gorgeous!

Congratulations! Does this mean we all get free massages?
Yep, you are now officially and completely. Out of the Ward, but you are welcome to visit anytime!!! We thought that maybe you missed us so much that you put off selling the house! Hee Hee
That is a wonderful week!!! I don't think it gets much better than that. Congrats for everything!
Congrats! Two yards to keep up in this heat is enough to drive you made let alone two morgage payments. Congrats to Brittany. Now how many degrees did your family get in the last few weeks. Good job everyone!
