Brittany has a stellar driving record. She has been driving for two years with her license without any problems, no accidents, or tickets.
Brittany's curfew on Saturday night is midnight, not a moment later. Well, last night she was dropping off friends after their evening of fun, and she apparently was driving a little too slow. So slow that some of the neighbors thought that she must be "casing the neighborhood" and they called the police.
Imagine Brittany's surprise when the police turned their lights on her just down the street. The police officers took her license and she came home with them following and they politely asked if she was my daughter. Of course, I said yes, and they explained what had happened and they left.
I hugged her because she was so scared! She has never had an experience like that before. Of course, today I had to have a little fun with her, so when I woke her up this morning to get up for church, I said, "Good morning little jailbird". In my best singsong voice. She smiled (I love when they smile when they are waking up) and said, "Moooommmmmmm!"
I think that she is too pretty to go to the big house. I asked her if I should get her tin cup out so that she can call the warden. Again, I was met with the requisite, "Mooooommmmmmm!" I love to tease my kids in a loving way.
This is one of her senior pics, isn't she so beautiful? I don't know why my scanner insists upon putting a line through it. I kind of thought, if it made more lines and they were evenly spaced, you might get the image of "My pretty little jailbird". I love you Brittany!

Yes, Brittany is very beautiful, of course I have always thought so. Guess who she looks just like? Her Mom. So that must mean her mom is beautiful as well, as I have always thought as well. Tell Brittany hello for me. I miss going to the movies with her!
That is so funny!!! Poor girl. I remember getting pulled over when I was her age. I was terrified. She is beauiful!! I have a brother who just got home from a mission. He does live in Utah though.
Yes, too pretty for jail! No going to jail. My Mum had a similar experience, she had come down to help me with some home improvement projects and had a bunch of buckets in her car. She got pulled over for going to slow, because she was lost and they thought she had a meth lab in her car. What has the world come to?

She is so beautiful. That is a funny story. Poor Brittany, she must have be so scared. I know I would have been. Something similar happened to Jeff when we were dating. He dropped me off at home and as he was pulling out of the neighborhood he got pulled over. When the realized he was not who they were hoping they let him go. Yeah!
I feel for Brittany. The first time I got pulled over my younger sister and her friend were in the car and the laughed the whole time. I was so mad I made them finish walking to school! Brittany is very beautiful.
Teasing is teasing; such a beautiful granddaughter; just ask her grandparents; that's okay, Brittany, mom's don't tell about ALL their past! Keep up the good work.
