Happy Grandparents Day!

Today is Grandparents Day and I just wanted to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the greatest grandparents ever.

You have stepped up to the grandparenting plate to be all the grandparents that Mark, Brittany and Andrew would need. Thank you for your love and support and yummy Schwan's chicken sandwiches that they ate at your house. Thanks for all the yummy banana bread and round bread that you made for us.

Andrew

Thank you for all the jumps on your trampoline, the summers when we would vacation at your house for a week. Thank you for always remembering our birthdays, and being there for all of the important milestones in our lives. Thank you for all of your listening and your advice, even though it probably seemed that we weren't listening.

Thank you for sharing what is important to you, so that someday we can share them with our own children and grandchildren. Thank you for coming for Thanksgiving these last few years, so that you wouldn't have to eat at JB's.

Most of all, when you ask Roger and Sharon Johnson about their three adoring grandchildren, make sure that you ask them, with sincerity, "how is your grand-beagle?" I love you Grandma, Love Berkeley.
